About us

We are a non-profit organisation based in Germany that is passionate about indigenous wisdom. Our team lives in many countries all over the world and we work fully digitally.

Our goal is to foster education and maybe even “development aid” to the western world through indigenous knowledge. And we help indigenous communities to set up projects that help them to preserve their culture and knowledge.

„Nature has 3.8 billion years of evolutionary experience in designing life-sustaining systems. Indigenous people still know how to read nature's genius. Why don’t we use this wisdom to build societies full of health and vitality?“

Our Approach

Why are we here and what role do we want to play as human beings on earth?

Some indigenous peoples still live today in the deep self-understanding of being custodians of the earth as human beings. They remind us of how we become effective co-creators in the service of the unfolding of life on earth. We want to contribute to remembering this potential and to grow into this role.

One of the central goals of our association is to buy back land and regenerate it with indigenous knowledge. We believe that we need to embrace indigenous knowledge systems again and apply this original knowledge to our modern times. In doing so, we explore indigenous approaches in a practical way and test their relevance for current challenges.

The Kogi

A

Civilization

The Kogi live in a highly developed culture that has existed for over 4000 years. They have found ways to live sustainably as a civilisation in harmony with nature.

Elaborate social processes, inner consciousness work and regenerative community structures make their socially and ecologically balanced society possible. Without major power hierarchies, they orient themselves to the natural order of life.

B

Mindset Vault

The jungle-covered mountain slopes of the Sierra Nevada have protected the unique culture of the Kogi from outside influences over the past centuries. This is how they have been able to preserve their original knowledge and their completely different understanding of the world until today.

At the core of their thinking is the interconnectedness of all life and how to create conditions conducive to life. This awareness is enormously valuable for our many challenges.

C

Experts

The Kogi are not only socially highly knowledgeable, but above all outstanding experts in the design of a sustainable society and ecosystem regeneration. Based on their ancient perspective, they repeatedly show extraordinary results regarding the biodiversity of their land and the functioning coexistence of society and nature.

D

Guardians of the future

A profound paradigm shift and change in consciousness is being called for everywhere at the moment. More and more people understand that only if we take a fundamentally different approach to life we can become sustainable as a society or economy.

This is exactly where indigenous knowledge can help us. Fortunately, the Kogi decided to contact us some time ago. They want to work with us to preserve life on our earth in all its diversity.

The Kogi Book

In »A Book of Balance«, the ancient Kogi tribe from Colombia’s Sierra Nevadas shares profound insights into living in harmony with the earth and finding purpose in every moment. This beautifully crafted book invites readers into the sacred fireside circle of the Kogi, where spiritual elders pose nine thought-provoking questions that guide us toward a more balanced and meaningful life.

Through the wisdom of these guardians of the “heart of the world,” we are offered a path to introspection, connection, and a deeper understanding of our place in the natural world.

A book to treasure, discuss, and share. A Book of Balance is a timeless guide to living well in harmony with ourselves and our environment.
